TableTop Tap House

Tabletop Tap House, located in the Metreon, is a restaurant, bar and social game hall serving modern American tavern-style food and drinks. Featuring 10 billiard tables, foosball, dozens of TVs, a 50-foot TV screen wall, and over 40 board games, we're a destination for gathering, connecting, and good times. 

Tabletop Tap House has immediate openings for talented people to help us contribute to this new concept, providing quality service to guests in a fun and fast paced environment. 

We're currently seeking a Sous Chef!

  • Reports to and supports the Executive Chef
  • Knows the menu of the restaurant in detail
  • Must be able to prepare everything on the menu including alternative recipes
  • Will be responsible to effectively supervise the kitchen in the absence of the EC
  • Should be ready to take over the station of kitchen staff members as needed
  • Prepare a variety of cuisine utilizing skill and creativity under the supervision of the Chef or in his/her absence
  • Regularly checks all working areas of cooks and utilities, including storage areas, refrigerators, and trash areas for cleanliness
  • Monitors stock levels and stock quality under the supervision of the EC
  • Assists the EC in maintaining required health and safety standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned




  • Must possess strong leadership, communication, and relationship skills
  • Must have versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Able to work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Acute attention to detail in a fast paced environment
  • Capable of producing a consistent product in a timely manner
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds;
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus



  • Culinary Degree a plus
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high volume restaurant kitchen required
  • 2-4 years in a culinary management position desired
